CGL – Casa das Gaxetas, is a family company that got into business in September 1976. At first, Casa das Gaxetas supplied sealing items for industrial maintenance markets, and became the distributor of products manufactured by large Brazilian companies of the sector.

In 1994, in the light of to the growing demand by our customers for the development of special application parts, CGL - Hidráulica e Pneumática Ltda. was founded, and thus Casa das Gaxetas was able to rely on our own manufacturing unit. Two years later, a branch was opened in the city of Caxias do Sul, due to the demands by the metal-mechanic sector that developed in that region of the state.

In the same year, Casa das Gaxetas acquired the rights to the exclusive manufacturing system of SEAL-JET machined parts, a CNC unit as well as softwares, tools and raw materials specially developed for the production of top-quality sealing items.

Due to the outstanding success obtained, and at the same time implementing company reengineering to reach new markets, in 2006 Casa das Gaxetas acquired a new machined seal manufacturing unit. This new system includes a CNC, a laser engraver, tools and softwares, and afforded to expand by 60% the dimensional capacity of products manufactured by CGL - Hidráulica e Pneumática Ltda.
